The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Department of Forest Resources and Wildlife Management: –
Duties And Responsibilities
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate GIS and Remote Sensing Workflows, Prepare, demonstrate and supervise practicals for students, and to carry out GIS analysis for research. The applicants must be able to install and operationalize GIS Software, Hardware and Networking. They must also be active in research and innovation. Further, they will be required to supervise undergraduate research projects and participate in research at postgraduate level. Applicants with a Degree OR an MSc in the above mentioned fields may also apply.
Qualifications And Experience
Applicants must hold a minimum qualification of a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science OR Diploma in Geographical Information Systems and Remote
Sensing OR any relevant degree. Experience with GIS software especially ArcGIS is a must.
