Projects Manager
The incumbent reports to the Director and the position Is a fixed term contract for six (6) months.
Duties And Responsibilities
KEY RESULT AREAS I DUTIES
• Lead the development of technical specifications and scope of works
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Lead the development of technical specifications and scope of works

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Set up project plans and provide feedback on progress on all projects in the departmental meetings and senior management meetings.
• Provide advice and guidance to members of staff and other stakeholders on technical matters related to engineering and works systems and processes
• Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
• Ensure quality of procured material and work done
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications And Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Corporate membership to a recognized professional body e.g., ZIE
• Diploma in Project Management is an added advantage
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Project Management Professional (PMP) I PRINCE II certification is a plus
• At least 3 years relevant experience and a track record of good performance
