Assistant Horticultural Manager
Our Client A Well-Established Commercial Farming Entity Is On The Market For An Experienced Assistant Horticultural Manager. Incumbent Should Be Able To Advise On The Development And Growth Of Plants And Be Able To Manage The Project. A Related Qualification And Previous Management Or Supervisory Experience Is A MUST.
Duties And Responsibilities Include:
-Managing, And Possibly Helping With, All Aspects Of Cultivation
-Developing New Products And Markets And Negotiating With Suppliers
-Designing Layouts And Developing Planting Programs
-Scheduling The Planting And Harvesting Of Crops
-Making Sure That Health And Safety Regulations And Procedures Are Followed
-Maintaining A Skilled And Trained Workforce.
-Plan, Develop And Implement Scheme Strategies In Liaison With Scheme Committees And Steering Groups
-Represent And Promote Schemes At Industry Events To Increase Membership And Access To Assurance Services
-Liaise With Retailers, Scheme Customers, Potential Members And Stakeholders To Raise Awareness And Access To Assurance Services
