Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the positions of Field Officer that have arisen in our organisation. The successful candidates will be based in Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central.
REPORTS TO: TECHNICAL OFFICER
Duties And Responsibilities
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Grower assessment for registration approval
• Farmer training and stakeholder information dissemination
• Responsible for the recovery of loans
• Monitor adherence to schedules and statutory requirements including planting dates, destruction of stalks.
• Ensuring that Afforestation programs are carried out
• Georeferencing for infrastructure and field mapping data collection
Qualifications And Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A diploma in Agriculture
• Certificate in tobacco training is an added advantage
• 2-3 years’ relevant working experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
• Clean class 3 drivers licence is a must
