Organisational Background
Africa AHEAD was founded in Zimbabwe in 1994 as Zimbabwe AHEAD (Applied Health, Education and Development) Organization, a Trust, and was subsequently registered as Africa AHEAD (AA), a PVO in 2014. We are a community development NGO that works in WASH and Community Development seeking to empower and build the capacity of women in particular and communities in general in decision making starting with health, nutrition and agriculture and a host of income-generating activities.

Africa AHEAD wishes to engage the services of an Auditor for the purpose of providing audit services as stipulated in its fiscal policy and procedure manual and the funding agreements with various funding partners. The organisation requires the Auditor to give the Audit Services in the form of an Institutional Audit for a period of 5 years starting from the year ending 31 December 2022. The audit shall be carried out in accordance with International Audit and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and funding partners’ audit guidelines.
Qualifications
An independent external auditor with a Practising Certificate issued by the Public Accountant and Auditors Board (PAAB) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) practising certificate issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe shall be engaged to carry out the audit.
