Duties And Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
• Producing and or reviewing designs for projects.
• Compiling projects votes for approval.
• Supervising project implementation.
• Formulating and managing the Projects and Services section’s annual budget.
• Managing the project and services staff, including providing on-the-job training, coaching and mentorship to subordinates.
• Managing third party contractors and suppliers with expected best practice.
• Ensuring project timelines are adhered to.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning or Enterprise Asset Management systems and maintenance management.
• Knowledge of safety, heath and environmental systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Soft Project.
• At least 5 years post learnership experience in a mining or heavy industry environment
• At least 2 years’ experience working on projects.
• Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.
