Duties And Responsibilities

 

Main Responsibilities
i. Coordinating housing maintenance and central workshop projects.
ii. Scheduling and overseeing the maintenance of surface vehicles.
iii. Supervising transport, central workshop. and housing maintenance crew.
iv. Assisting in the formulation of the section budgets and control thereof.

 

Qualifications And Experience

 

Minimum Requirements
• National certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting.
• A National diploma would be an added advantage.
• Class 1 journeyman.
• At least 8 years post apprenticeship experience in a similar role
• Experience in a mining environment or heavy industry with heavy mobile equipment is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental systems
