Responsibilities

Teaching courses in Social Work at Undergraduate degree level;

Supervising students’ research work;

Assessing students on work-related learning;

Carrying out research and generating publications;

Delivering seminars, tutorials, fieldwork and facilitating e-learning;

Undertaking administrative tasks related to the Department; and

Performing any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson of the Department.

Qualifications and Experience

 

• Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work will be an added advantage;
• Master of Science in Social Work;
• Bachelor of Science in Social Work; and
• At least two (2) years of lecturing experience in a tertiary institution.
