Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the below mentioned position that has arisen in our Transport and logistics SBU.
Duties And Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Oversee the repair and maintenance operations for all trucks as per set key performance indicators.
2. Attend to all mechanical breakdowns and recovery.
3. Coordinate Trucks concerns and issues with Operations department.
4. Produce and analyze productivity and operational reports for Workshops and take corrective action.
5. Assist the Operations Manager in planning and executing Truck and equipment replacement schedule.
6. Determine the need and benefits of out-sourcing Truck and equipment repairs or services.
7. Prepare annual list of parts and supplies.
8. Identify/coordinate training needs for workshop employees.
Qualifications And Experience
• Degree/Diploma in relevant filed of technical/mechanical engineering.
Preferred Experience:
• 5 years extensive experience in managing a Transport & Logistics workshop and experience with sound engine knowledge in all fields.
