National Foods Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, an outbound distribution and warehousing company of fast-moving consumer goods, seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following opportunity that have arisen in the business.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the duties and responsibility of the incumbent are as follows:
Duties And Responsibilities
• Debriefing drivers after every delivery route.
• Ensure all trucks are allocated orders at loading sites.
• Tracking vehicles and analyzing telematics reports.
• Ensure timeous submission of POD’s by drivers.
• Initiate claims recovery from drivers.
• Issuing drivers with trip sheets and also receipt of trip sheet after route.
• Checking any defects on the trucks and indicate on the debrief form.
• Liaise with workshop on repairs.
• Monitor fuel consumption per truck against a set target, investigate discrepancies and advise
management.
• Enforcing compliance to the Safety, Health and Environment Policies and Standards.
Qualifications And Experience
.
• Minimum – Diploma/ Degree in Transport and Logistics Management.
• Trained Motor Mechanic with minimum Class 2 certification.
• 2 years working Experience.
• Experience in a Logistics setup with knowledge of tracking systems and debrief tasks is an added
advantage.
• Clean class 2 driver’s Licence.
• Candidate must be aged between 25 – 35 years.
