National Foods Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, an outbound distribution and warehousing company of fast-moving consumer goods, seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following exciting opportunity that have arisen in the business.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the job is based in Harare and responsible for the following:
Duties And Responsibilities
• Ensuring movement of outbound goods is done accurately and timeously.
• Routing of orders/picking slips.
• Coordinating processing of Picking slips with the Warehouse.
• Handing over dispatch plan and load sheets to Transport for the allocation of trucks.
• Ensuring every load is correctly verified, checked and signed for.
• Ensuring all goods are invoiced before dispatch.
• Monitoring the loading, weighing and dispatch of truck to avoid delays.
• Ensuring that orders are done as per specified tonnage.
• Investigating any discrepancies in the weight of load(s).
• Compiling periodic reports.
• Adherence to security, safety and Health procedures.
• General maintenance of the dispatch area.
• Ensuring transporters/drivers submit PODs (Proof of Delivery) within the stipulated time frame.
Qualifications And Experience
• Degree/HND Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management or any relevant field
• At least 5 years’ proven and relevant experience in Distribution / Logistics.
• Experience in a Distribution/Logistics Company will be an added advantage.
