Job Summary
SECURICO – a leading provider of security services in Zimbabwe – is looking for a Registered General Nurse for its industrial clinic located in Harare. The nurse shall assist in the setting up and running of a new clinic which is part of the company’s expanded medical and wellness services to its valuable employees.
Duties And Responsibilities
o Planning, leading, organizing and coordinating activities for the Clinic in conjunction with the Doctor and Management
o Coordinate with management to implement wellness and health safety programs for staff
o Carrying out Health Assessments and nursing management of patients according to scope of practice and the Nursing Process
o Administering treatments and medications according to Nursing diagnoses and as prescribed by the Doctor
o Refer patients to the doctor or other health service providers as and when necessary
o Maintain and manage all Clinic documents and Patient records.
o Maintenance of stock, emergency drugs and equipment at all times
o Entering pertinent information in the Master Register
o Compiling statistics and reports as required
o Observe infection prevention and control measures according to universal precautions and WHO standards
o Prevention of Medico-Legal hazards
o Carry out other duties as assigned by management and the doctor.
Qualifications And Experience
o An RGN Diploma
o A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Industrial Nursing qualification would be an added advantage
o Must be registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe
o A valid Practicing Certificate
o Willingness to work under the SECURICO Company regulations.

At least 5 years’ experience post qualification. Experience at an Industrial Clinic or a Primary Care Clinic and a BLS Certificate would be an added advantage.
