Vacancy : Senior Housing and Community Services Officer (Grade 11)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Head of Housing , Health and Community Services Department
- To ensure the effective management of the various sectors which include Housing , Health , Community services and Parks and Gardens
- Preparing weekly , monthly , annual and adhoc Reports for the Town Secretary and the Works and services Committee
- Formulating and implementing Housing , Health , Environmental and Community services policies by laws and strategies
- Formulation and implementation of strong housing delivery and solid waste management strategies at workplaces
- To ensure that departmental staff are properly supervised through section heads
- Preparing and managing departmental budget
- To perform any other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Town Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Administration , Social Sciences or Environmental Health from a recognised university
- A post graduate Degree would be an added advantage
- At least 5 years post qualification local governance experience
- At least 30 years old
- Must be citizen of Zimbabwe
- No criminal record
