JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the post of REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE (5 Posts) that has arisen at Masvingo City.

Salary Grade: 12
Reports To: Sister in Charge
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 O’Levels including English Language, Mathematics & a Science subject
- A General Nurses’ Diploma
- Be currently registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe
- A Diploma or qualification in Mental Health is an added advantage
- Experience in Managing COVID-19 cases and / or having worked in any Local Authority setting is an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnosis and treatment of minor illness including management of emergencies
- Referrals of emergencies and clients in need of specialist services
- Provision of reproductive health services including diagnosis and treatment of STIs
- Provision of HIV testing and counseling services
- Provision of OV/ART services management of COVID 19 suspected and confirmed clients
- Implementing infection control measures
- Compilation of statistics
- Providing clinical health services in the Out Patient Department
- Any other duties assigned by the Sister in Charge or Matron.
