Duties And Responsibilities
The role – What we expect from you:
Review and recommend all proposals from Relationship Managers.
Budget and direct allocation of resources.
Oversee timely disbursement of approved facilities.
Monitor facility draw downs in line with approved cash flows.
Update clients on changes to the Bank’s lending conditions.
Manage the coding and grading of all accounts.
Monitor and enforce the perfection of security and other pre-lending conditions.
Conduct market development initiatives and cross sell Bank’s products.
Manage performance indicators efficiently and match assets to liabilities.
Implement measures to collect all income due to the Bank.
Manage and develop staff.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications, Skills and experience required:
Possess a relevant degree in Banking and Finance, Agribusiness, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies or similar from a recognized tertiary institution.
Possession of a Diploma in Banking and Finance, Agriculture or similar is a prerequisite.
An MBA, MBL, MSc or similar postgraduate qualification is a clear advantage.
Have at least eight years’ relevant working experience in the banking or corporate environment of which 3 years should have been at managerial level.
Possess good marketing and communication skills.
Have proven relationship management skills.
Should possess strong understanding of financial analysis.
Have solid report writing and presentation skills.
Possess proven and demonstrable analytical and interpretive skills.
Should have solid experience in people management skills.
