Carrying out or supervising all maintenance logistics activities in the base (vehicles, fuel consumption, and local infrastructure) according to MSF standards and protocols in order to have the material, infrastructure and vehicles in optimal running conditions

Carrying out or supervising all maintenance logistics activities in the base (vehicles, fuel consumption, and local infrastructure) according to MSF standards and protocols in order to have the material, infrastructure and vehicles in optimal running conditions
Requirements
Support actively the implementation of the MSF logistics tools in order to achieve objectives; Ensure a good preparation and a rapid logistics reaction in case of emergency outbreak; Follow up construction / rehabilitation activities in different sites; Expected to be the focal person in the team regarding the supply and logistic needs in the different departments & locations of the projects. Will be responsible for processing all requests according to MSF-Belgium standards for project; Establishes the weekly vehicle movement planning and ensures the correct adherence for use of vehicles (driving policy, speed limits, safety and security rules).
Educational and professional background
Minimum diploma level of a technical / supply course; A clean class 2 driver’s license and valid defensive driver license; Proved technical & practical logistics skills ( ICT, supply, water and sanitation; construction); Minimum 2 years extensive experience; Ability to identify problem sources and propose solutions; IT Knowledge and good reporting skills; Ability to work in an international/inter-cultural context & humanitarian team spirit; Good communication skills, both written and oral in English and local languages; Must be mature with sober habit and having ability to represent MSF professionally and positively; High flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
