JOB TITLE : Senior Voter Registration & Delimitation Officer
REPORTS TO : Deputy Provincial Elections Officer
STATIONS : Harare, Bulawayo, Manicaland, Mashonaland West, Mashonaland East, Mashonaland Central, Matabeleland South & Masvingo Provincial Offices
GRADE : 6
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
• Maintaining a Provincial voter registration and delimitation database;
• Facilitating voter registration and delimitation in the Province;
• Developing operational and logistical plans for voter registration and delimitation
• Facilitating updating of voters rolls and registers;
• Conducting electoral boundary mapping and defining polling station areas
• Facilitating public inspections of voters’ rolls;
• Reviewing voter registration and delimitation programs to inform policies;
• Providing any other support as may be required and expected by the Commission
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
• Degree in Information Technology, Survey, Cartography, Geography, Rural and Urban Planning or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualification such as GIS
• At least 3 years’ progressive work experience in Geo-spatial planning
