Goldridge College an independent co-educational Trust School based in Kwekwe, has a challenging temporary career opportunity effective 1 January 2022 to 30 April 2022.

Assistant Bursar
Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
❖ Process the cash book by posting all receipts and payments daily using Pastel System.
❖ Updates the daily cash balance book for the college.
❖ Input of student data and producing invoices termly.
❖ Produce monthly bank reconciliation statements.
❖ Allocates receipts and payments to the appropriate Nominal Ledger Accounts.
❖ Process salaries and wages, including overtime, Leave pay, Pension, NSSA, levies and Medical Aid every month.
❖ Reconcile accounts in preparation for the final accounts monthly.
❖ Comply with Accounting procedures, institutional policies and procedures.
❖ Receipting and Filing.
❖ Assist the College Accountant with budgeting and compilation of budgets including monitoring of budgets.
❖ Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Accountant

Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
❖ Higher National Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
❖ Advanced knowledge of Pastel Accounting.
❖ At least 5 years experience.
