JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client In Manufacturing Is Looking To Engage A Quality Assurance Auditor. The Successful Incumbent Will Have Experience Implementing Quality Standards In Companies In The Manufacturing Sector i.e.Knowledge and Experience on the following standards: ISO 22000 & 17025. A Relevant Diploma/Degree in Agriculture and QA Auditing experience specifically at a Poultry Farm Is Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in compiling the Quality Assurance Audit Calendar with the help of QA Exec and other departments to avoid audits clash
• Assists in reviewing audit checklists for all departments
• Before starting a planned audit, ensures relevant checklist is obtained
• Conducts audit as per Internal Audit procedures
• Communicates audit findings to Site Manager before closing audit
• Compiles Audit Reports as per Internal Audit procedure
• Sends completed checklist to audited Dept site manager & Dept Exec, QA Exec & Internal Auditor
• Compiles Executive Audit Report and sends to QA Exec for approval
• Sends Executive Audit Report to site Manager, Site Executive, QAE and Internal Auditors and all Directors
• Receives action plan from audited Dept & conducts a corrective action audit as per Internal Audit procedure
• After auditing Contract Growers (surprise audits), discusses audit findings with relevant Technical Adviser
• Compiles Scorecard & Checklist and sends to relevant department and grower as per SOP
• Compiles Executive Report and sends to relevant Depts and grower as per SOP
• Conducts audits on ISO 22000 & 17025 as per ISO internal audit procedures
• Compiles an Audit report following ISO template for ISO audits
• Conducts follow-up audits for Contract Growers as well as ISO audits as per Internal Audits procedure
• Conducts investigative audits based on system requirements on an ad-hoc basis
• Participates in Food Safety systems reviews as per SOP and bi-annual Management reviews
• Participates in weekend duties as per Duty Roaster to check on designated departments
