Contract duration: 3 months
CeSHHAR Zimbabwe is an organization that specializes in sexual health, HIV and AIDS research in Zimbabwe. CeSHHAR is looking for candidates to fill the following positions which have arisen with the Childhood and Adolescence portfolio.
Job role requirements
Under the overall supervision of the study Principal Investigator, the Youth Researchers will be responsible for conducting qualitative research with young people. Responsibilities include:-
- Assisting with qualitative data collection;
- Transcribing and translating qualitative data;
- Assisting with data analysis (e.g., writing interview summaries and analytic memos) and any other research duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and experience
- Advanced level certificate. Possession of Certificate in GCP and Research Ethics is essential;
- Sound knowledge and experience with qualitative research methods of in-depth interviewing and focus group discussions;
- Proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Office packages and possession of good interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Shona languages (additional proficiency in Ndebele is an added advantage) and Comfort in dealing with sensitive issues.
