Job Summary
Reporting To Engineering Manager
Supervision Of : Assistant Artisans
Interacts With : Other Artisans and production personnel
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Ensuring safety of self and others by strict adherence to safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, risk assessment and electrical safety as outlined in the group SHE policy
2. Inspecting, maintaining and overhauling electrical equipment using a variety of electrical test equipment and tools
3. Installation of new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to set standards
4. Performing a variety of maintenance tasks, such as preventative maintenance, disconnecting and removing motors and responding to emergencies
5. Coordinating maintenance work with other artisans, contractors and assistant artisans
6. Estimating time, materials and equipment required for repairs and maintenance
7. Examining various electrical systems and making recommendations for new equipment, repairs and modifications
8. Wiring, Installation, testing and maintaining of vibro motors, variable speed drives, alarms, control systems and lighting to ensure proper and safe working condition.
Qualifications And Experience

Experience: 5 years
Education Level: Apprenticeship/ HND Electrical Power Engineering
Qualifications : Class 1 Electrician
Software : MS Office
Equipment.: Industry Related
Knowledge Of : Electrical Equipment
Personality: Organised/Multicultural / Personable
