Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Smelter in Kwekwe. Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following position on a fixed- term contract basis.
Low Level Electrician
Responsibilities
- Assist artisan in carrying out daily checks on all equipment
- Assist artisan on breakdowns
- Assisting High Level Electrician in major fabrication work
- Carryout housekeeping in workstations
- Assist artisan on standby duties
- Collecting spare parts from main stores
- Promote safety awareness when carrying out duties
- Carrying out housekeeping as per NOSA standards
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- At least 4 years secondary level of education.
- SST training in electrical work
- At least a Class 4 NEC Certificate in Electrical trade a distinct
advantage - Clean safety record
- Highly Commendable Safety and Disciplinary Record
