suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following positions on a fixedterm contract basis.
Chillmould Preparer
Grade : FA 5
Duties And Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Shift Superintendent any cracked section on the chillmould
• Preparing a chillmould that has been out for repair
• Preparing chillmould – lining mix
• Inspecting all chill moulds from PPM and those in use and filing monthly checklists before accepting the chillmoulds
• Assisting the slingers during stripping of ingots and replacing flow lip on chill mould
Qualifications And Experience
• At least one year casting bay working experience
• Prior acting /relief experience will be a distinct advantage
• Highly commendable safety & disciplinary record
• Punctuality and good communication skills
