Bulawayo Mining Company Private Limited (How Mine) is currently looking for suitably qualified persons to fill the above position.
Shift Boss
The overall objective of the position is to supervise back shift mining activities to ensure that production development and stopping are realised in the safest , cost-efficient and effective manner
Responsibilities
- Safety, Health , Environment and Quality management
- Safe and efficient re-entry
- Supervision of hoisting , development , stopping and training activities during backshift to meet set targets
- Supervising the safe handling and use of explosives
- Efficient use and maintenance of tramming equipment
- Compilation of consolidated back shift reports
- Ensuring full compliance of mining regulations
Qualifications and Requirements
- BSc Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering , and FBL, NEC Certificate
- Knowledge in Hard rock mining, development, stopping , shaft systems and computer literacy
- At least 3yrs post qualification experience
- Knowledge of SHEQ systems and People Management skills a requirement
