The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo Engineering Services Department
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
- Leads and directs a team of Charge Hands in all the workshops.
- Inspects reservoirs water levels.
- Liaises with Water Works Superintendent on the water supply levels.
- Coordinates bulk water supply into distribution and liaises with Engineers and Zone Managers.
- Controls stock at sub-stores and authorises requisitions.
- Manages the Water Workshop Vehicles for effective utilisation.
- Interprets the water reticulation designs.
Qualifications Requirements
- An apprenticeship trained journeyman Class 1 in the trade of Plumbing/Drain laying.
- A clean class 4 drivers’ licence
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- At least 5 years work experience in a similar environment.
