Job Summary
We are looking for Agronomists to join a growing tobacco company. The incumbents will be working under the overall supervision of the Field Operations Manager, and direct supervision of the Regional Operations Manager. The Agronomist will provide expert technical support to the farmers.

Crop production planning, Grower selection, Contract Marketing and Confirmation, Documentation and Input Receipting, Training farmers and supervising growing of crop at all stages, Administration and debt recovery, Assist with agronomic budgeting and cost monitoring, Organising and conducting field training on demo plots.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Agronomy / Agriculture or related field from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant field experience, including tobacco growing, and agronomy.
• Aged between 25 and 35 years.
• Clean 3 driver’s licence an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and result focused.
• Proven track record in working effectively with small scale farmers.
