WORKS DEPARTMENT
CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (GRADE 13) – 1 POST
Qualifications and attributes
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering
- At least two (2) years’ work experience
- Local Government experience is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Computer literate e.g. Excel and auto CAD
- A citizen of Zimbabwe
- A clean criminal record
- A clean record of service
- A clean class 4 driver’s licence
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project management and supervision of construction and maintenance jobs
- Coordinating WASH activities
- Overseeing the construction and maintenance of roads, water and sewer reticulation systems
- Any other duties assigned by the Engineer
