Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of Full Stack Developer which has arisen within the Digital Transformation Department
Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among others:
• Researches and analyses innovations, technologies and trends and recommends optimum approach and methodologies to achieve the Technology Services Plan
• Researches the relevant areas of software development and receives the Project Implementation Plan from the Digital Products Development Manager and devolves these into daily tasks and objectives.
• Checks that all software artifacts are compliant with the relevant software development procedures and best practices
• Develops the software application artifacts in conjunction with the Software Development Team as per pre-agreed guidelines.
• Advises the Manager on possible technical improvements.
• Checks that the software development artifacts are scalable, robust, secure and highly available as per the FSD.
• Checks that the source code written by the Software Development Team is properly tested, documented, versioned and securely backed up on a Version Control System daily and keeps the Manager informed.
• Checks whether the software artifacts meet the functional and non-functional software requirements and transfers to the Digital Products Development Manager.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Informatics
• Java SE Certification.
• At least one enterprise framework certification e.g J2EE, spring.
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in Software Development.
