Duties and Responsibilities
• The candidate should be able to supervise students’ research/design projects and teach at least three modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the following areas: Animal Nutrition, Feed Processing and Formulation, Pasture and Rangeland Management, and Animal Production.
• Participating in income generation.
• Participating in outreach activities in the agricultural sector.
• Ability to innovate and facilitate service delivery
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Animal Science with a bias towards Animal Nutrition and a BSc Honours in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science. Applicants must have strong research mentoring skills and the ability to attract and manage research grants. Preference will be given to applicants with a proven record of publications in refereed scientific journals. A PhD in Animal Nutrition will be an added advantage.
