ZIMCARE Trust in a Private Voluntary Organisation, registered under the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare. It has a mandate of caring for educating intellectually challenged persons in Zimbabwe.

Position summary

The position requires a self motivated individual who is able to work with minimum supervision. Fundraising and relationship building is the main core function of the position, hence the applicant should be well versed in that area.

Duties and responsibilities

The positions involves preparing all fundraising plans and ensure compliance to all organisation’s strategies, developing and maintain professional relationship with all donors and maintain an effective portfolio for all donors, identifying and contact potential grantees for funding, representing the organisation brand and providing guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.

Skills and qualifications

The applicant should be a holder of a First Degree in Development Studies or any other related Social Sciences degree. A project planning qualification will be an added advantage. Driver’s Licence A MUST as the job comes with a lot of travelling.
