Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following posts at Great Zimbabwe University. Successful candidates will report directly to the Director of Research and Innovation.

Duties And Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing impactful solutions that go beyond the deliverables and should be committed to constant self-development;

• Producing design deliverables and support to design projects at the Innovation Hub;

• Monitoring the progress of the project;

• Coordination of programmes, projects and participants at the innovation hub;

• Specifying equipment and materials for projects in the innovation hub;

• Documenting programme(s) or project budget(s) and inform the management team of any under- or over spending of budget;

• Developing periodic projects reports for the director.

• Any other duties assigned by the director.

Qualifications And Experience

Applicants must have at least a first degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Biochemistry/\Biotechnology or any relevant field. Relevant working experience and a Master’s degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage. All academic qualifications must be from a recognized/reputable institute. The candidate should have experience in coding /software, project design, 3D printing, robotics, artificial intelligence, Raspberry Pi, IoT, or any engineering projects. In addition, applicants should possess superior interpersonal and communication skills.
