Duties And Responsibilities
• Interfacing with other Faculties; and Carrying out any other duties as assigned.
• Undertaking the overall administration of the unit;
• Coordinating and servicing meetings including minute taking; Interpretation and communication of program regulations, procedures and rules on post-graduate studies;
• Responding to candidates who are accepted or rejected for the programme applied; Processing applications for Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy Degrees in Liaison with the Academic Registry Unit;
• Organization of the defense workshops and other events for post-graduate students and their supervisors;
• Collaborating with post-graduate student associations to foster a good social climate in the University;
• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports; and Carrying out any other duties as and when required by the Director.
Qualifications And Experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Administration from a recognized University;
• Master’s degree in Administration will be an added advantage;
• Two (2) years’ experience as Administrative Officer in a University; and Experience in working in a Postgraduate office will be an added advantage
