Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Mining Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following vacant position on a renewable fixed term contract basis.
PROCUREMENT MANAGER (MINING DIVISION)
Reporting to the Group Supplies Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement function for the Mining Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement or Equivalent from reputable institutions with at least 3 years post graduate learner ship experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
- A professional qualification such as Cl PS will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management module a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrable knowledge of a recognised SHE system, preferably NOSA.
- High levels of communication and sound interpersonal skills.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Managing the Procurement and stores sections to ensure delivery of goods and services in time.
- Administration of warehouses, ensuring zero shrinkages.
- Warehouse security management and systems controls.
- Management of scrap material.
- Management of the distribution of fuel within company.
SHE Management and compliance to the NOSA Five Star Integrated System.
