Loss Control Officer 260 views

• Carries out investigations for all cases involving employees .
• Monitors compliance of the security system.
• Participates in drawing standard procedures for security and loss control.
• Assists in preparing budget for the loss control department.
• Assists in formulating and preparing risk management strategies and policies for security needs of
the whole organization to minimize losses.
Reports cases and incidences direct to the Loss Control Manager.
• Assists in drawing security work-plans and programs for each region.
• Conducts security vetting of prospective employees.
• Recommends on appropriate treatment of investigations i.e. referrals to the police or deal with the
case internally.
• Liaises with law enforcement agents and outsourced security agents
• Assists in overseeing and supervising work of contracted security companies and decides on how
they are deployed.
• Promotes security and risk control awareness i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
• Checks on enforcement of controls in the organization.
• Assists safety department in coordinating the emergency preparedness system e.g. fire system
• Represents the company in the courts of law.
