Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in reviews and updates of Contractor’s designs and drawings, tracks al the updates and produces relevant reports.
- Monitors civil and structural site works, inspections and tests on physical plant and material.
- Preparation and compiling job or technical specifications for tendering processes
- Monitors project progress, identifies potential and real problem areas, formulates solutions and advises the Project Site Manager
- Ascertains that al designs and operational parameters are met before hand over of pant* Reviews operation and maintenance procedures for the different pan: civil structures.
- Participates in Vendor Quality Surveillances. Factory and Site acceptance tests
- Ensures that the work on and offsite-site is carried out according to project HSE policy
Supervises civil Engineers and Technicians in daily tasks and appraises their workout put and quality.

- Job Application Details Qualifications and Experience A degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or equivalent Professional membership of a recognized Engineering Institute (Registration with Engineering Council of Zimbabwe would be mandatory) Preferably 8 years’ experience in power generation or heavy construction industry Project management experience and certification (PRINCE2/PMP).
