PROGRAMME OFFICER (Arts Development and Promotion) Mash East, Mash West and Manicaland The person reports to the respective Provincial Arts Manager. Job Purpose Arts Development and Promotion programming. Key Result Area Develop and maintain data base of arts activities in the province Monitor and evaluate projects and programmes Develop project proposals and concept papers for new programmes and projects for the organisation Carry out research work in liaison with relevant stakeholders Coordinate capacity building programmes for artists Prepare issue based and monthly reports Planning and organising events Talent identification and nurturing Registration of artists, groups, Associations and organisations Competence and Skills Dynamic self-motivated person with a passion for the arts Integrity, Good communication and networking skills Good negotiation and marketing skills
Work/Educational Requirements
A degree in arts, social sciences, marketing or equivalent. Proven experience in public/private sector and NGOs will be an added advantage Must be computer literate, plus at least 2 years’ experience in a related position
