DEPUTY DIRECTOR
COMMISSARIAT DEPARTMENT
ZANU PF is seeking applications from qualified, dynamic and career oriented professional for its Headquarters in Harare. It seeks the services of a motivated person who will fulfill the following responsibilities and have the qualifications and experience set out below.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide a compmhensive service to the party including:
- Reports to the Secretary for Commissariat.
- Coordinates matters on technical mobilization and recruitment programmes in histherarea of operation.
- Coordinates matters to do with the conduct of all internal and national elections in his/her area of operation.
- Providing Party secretarial services, maintaining statutory records, calling and attending Directors meetings, providing advice as may benecessary.
- Coordinates Chi tepo School of Ideology training programmes in his/her area of operation.
- Liaises with Party affiliates, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), NG0s, Civic Society and Faith Based Groups in electoral matters.
- Provides Secretary Services to the ZANU PF Elections
- Carries out research and provides reports and advice on political matters in his/her area of operation.
- Any other duties as assigned by the director for
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
A mcognized Political Science Degree, and Master’s Degree in any Social Science field is an advantage.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Should be a Party Card Holder
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work under considerable time pressure on a regularbasis
- A high level ofmotivation and energy
- The aptitude to interact effectively with subordinates and senior political leadership.
- Is ideological aligned to the values, principles of ZANU PF the ruling Party
- Ability to interact with high-level individuals and organisations
- Loyalty to the Party and Leadership is a prerequisite
- Motor vehicledriver’s licenses
