CNC Machine Operator / Machinist – Greenfuel 624 views

Our company is searching for a talented and experienced CNC Machine Operator to be responsible for ensuring the production of quality parts and tools from machine setup to operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs as required.
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Operate CNC machines in performing a variety of work activities as found in the toolroom/machine shop.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
• Provide timelines to clients.
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
• Ensure that the results of the machining process align with client expectations.
• Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Time served Toolmaker/Turner Machinist.
• Certificate in CNC Lathe and Milling operation and programming.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Machinist.
• Ability to interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven mechanical attitude.
• Good computer and mathematical skills.
• Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
