Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Agronomist in Cell Insurance. The main purpose of the job is to offer expert/specialist agricultural underwriting and business development service in order to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives.
Reporting to the General Manager the main areas of responsibility are:
1.Agricultural Underwriting
2.Business Development
3.Surveys and risk assessments
4.Customer Care
5.Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Qualifications
– BSC Honours Degree in Agriculture plus
– Diploma in Insurance OR AIISA OR equivalent
– Degree in Insurance is an added advantage
Ideal Candidate must:
– Have a minimum of 2 years of working experience with exposure to farming/ agricultural underwriting and claims environment in short term insurance.
– Have good agricultural underwriting knowledge and skill
– Be a team player and problem solver
– Have proven business development skills with good communication and presentation skills
