Finance Intern
Structure of Internship
OPHID intends to engage a Finance Intern as a corporate responsibility, to create opportunities for students who are in the process of completing their studies to be acquainted with the working environment and to be given a chance to put the academic theory into practice. The intern will be offered exposure in the following areas, among other areas;
- Preparation of payment vouchers and payments to suppliers in a multi-project environment:
- Maintaining petty cashbook
- Daily posting of all transactions into Pastel-accounting package
- Drawing up monthly bank reconciliations for various projects
- Management of the monthly VAT reports
- Assist in compliance and external audit preparation.
- Management of advances and acquittals.
Minimum Requirements
Students in Universities, colleges or professional institutions studying towards an Accounting qualification i.e. Bachelor of Accounting Degree, CIS, CIMA, ACCA, BBS, HND or equivalent.
