Key areas of internship
With supervision, the Communications Intern will perform the following duties:
Assist in boosting the organization’s presence in online communications and social media, updating and posting content on sites; Assist in gathering content and compiling case studies, stories and photographs on programme work and impact, based on relevant inputs from team leaders; Assist in the organization and preparation of communications materials for conferences, workshops, exhibitions and other events; Manage, write content and update organization’s website; Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications, skills, and experience
Under-graduate student in Media and Communications, Journalism or relevant related field; Commitment to and understanding of SMAIAS aims and values; Demonstrated willingness to learn; Interest in and knowledge of development work; Excellent social media skills; Solid writing and editing skills with focus on details; Solid computer skills: must be able to work effectively and accurately with Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, email, and internet applications; A person of high integrity and professionalism; Excellent interpersonal skills.
