Game Rangers
A very successful regional Counter Poaching Organization seeks to Interview and short list potential Game Rangers to operate in a number of regional parks :
We require candidates and applicants to have the following Attributes:
1. Age between 18 and 30 years.
2. Physically fit and healthy and able to walk and sleep comfortably in the bush, carrying water and rations for a minimum of twenty four hours. With a neat and tidy demeanour.
3. The potential ranger will be a non-cigarette smoker.
4. It is to be noted that all camps and operations are “dry”, that is, no alcohol.
5. Rotations will be a minimum of 30 days on operations and 8 days off.
6. A military back ground is not an essential , but knowledge and experience of Bush type Counter Poaching operations will be an asset.
7. The candidate must be in possession of a current, valid, passport.
8. The organization will supply:
a. Uniform and equipment
b. Base camp accommodation and rations for base and patrol rations
c. Medical Insurance on the job.
d. Salary
9. A knowledge of languages , in addition to fluency in English, will be a benefit.
