1.4 BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT

Qualifications Applicants must have 5 “0” Levels including English Language, Mathematics and Science. The incumbent must also have a National Diploma in a relevant area. A Higher Diploma in a related area would be an added advantage plus at least 1 year post qualification experience with traceable references.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to do the following: • Prepare for laboratory/field based practical sessions; Assist with research in the following areas: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Cell and Tissue Culture Biology, Entomology and Parasitology, Immunology, Genetics. Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, Zoology and other areas in Biological Sciences; Manage a laboratory establishment including equipment. procurement and records; Supervise junior staff and Perform other related duties as assigned.
