About Job
Our client is seeking a Front desk assistant who is professional, customer-focused, highly organised. In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service, manage member entry, handle enquiries and payments, support administrative duties, and help ensure the facility runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in members/guests professionally.
  • Handle enquiries via in person, phone, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Provide accurate information on memberships, classes, promotions, and policies.
  • Support registrations, renewals, and account updates; follow up on outstanding renewals/payments.
  • Promote memberships (VIP packages, personal training, and add-ons).
  • Process payments (cash, card, electronic transfers) and maintain accurate member records in the gym system.
  • Announce classes 15 minutes before start time.
  • Arrive 15 minutes before each shift.
  • Coordinate cleaning staff and maintain presentation/hygiene standards.
  • Complete hourly walk-through checks (towels, closed-shoe policy, TVs, equipment, housekeeping) and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Support events, record group class attendance, and monitor first aid supplies.
  • Capture at least 3 media assets per shift (Mon-Sat). (Sunday optional).
  • Create/edit class schedules and social media posts using approved templates; assist with marketing content as directed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office, email, and point-of-sale systems).
  • 3-5 years experience in customer service, sales, or reception.
  • Honest, reliable, and professional.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
