The successful candidates will be responsible for marketing the company’s loan products while building and maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio. The incumbents will ensure they consistently achieves loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets while upholding the highest standards of credit quality, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct marketing and business development to targeted market segments
  • Collecting, assessing and analyzing client information in order to make sound credit decisions.
  • Conducting client visits, both existing and prospective to ensure business is retained
  • Effective relationship management and taking initiative to identify leads in the target segments.
  • Monitoring loan repayments and proactively managing portfolio quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s credit policies and procedures.
  • Following up on overdue accounts and implementing recovery strategies.
  • Engage clients and guide them on market trends and developments.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Sales, Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or any related commercial discipline.
  • Professional certification or short courses in Marketing, Sales Management, or Business Development.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in a sales and marketing field, preferably within a financial service, microfinance, or SME lending environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Prior exposure to the Zimbabwean SME lending market or financial services sector would be a plus.
