Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and input petty cash data into ACZ’s accounting systems.
  • Code banking slips for all bank accounts using established accounting codes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date expenditure records.
  • Reconcile imprest accounts for timely replenishment.
  • Reconcile cash control accounts on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensure reconciliations are approved by the immediate supervisor.
  • Collect and follow up bank statements for prompt reconciliations.
  • Post cash receipts and airport service charge summaries accurately.
  • Compile revenue schedules including navigation, landing, parking, docking and other revenue streams.
  • Invoice utility recoveries and perform reconciliations.
  • Collect utility debts.
  • Issue and reconcile fuel coupons.
  • Participate in stock takes and prepare stock take reports.
  • File accounting documents.

Requirements

  • 2 Advanced Level passes including Accounting.
  • Higher National Diploma in Accounting or an Accounting Degree.
  • OR Part III of CIS, CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least one (1) year of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of revenue and expenditure accounting and credit control.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
