Key Responsibilities
- Triggers the provisioning of warehouse materials that are running below set parameters / reorder levels to prevent stock outs.
- Prepare and monitors stock records and stock taking.
- Monitoring fast moving items.
- Assists in formulating warehouse annual budget.
- Assists in providing estimates for raw materials and expendables.
- Receives and records raw materials, company uniforms and expendables from suppliers.
- Makes sure that quantities and quality received agrees with the orders.
- Ensures that storage and identification of material meets quality standards.
- Ensures proper handling and packaging of material.
- Provide branches and departments with expendables and uniforms on order.
- Issues raw material to production as requested.
- Ensures that re-issues are done after proper authorization by Directors.
- Monitors performance of subordinates.
Requirements
- Minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics.
- Qualification in Stores, Warehousing or Distribution Operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Operations and Management.
- Time management skills and ability to delegate.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and data entry software.
- Problem-solving skills.
