Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dispatch operations and co-ordinate delivery schemes.
- Co-ordinate with production, sales and customers.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dispatch reports.
- Work in conjunction with the quality control section so that jobs are inspected before delivery.
- Close the dockets that are supplied in full quality.
- Record jobs in the daily return/output form and in works register.
- Efficient dispatching of jobs.
- Compile the daily output form.
- Daily supervision of subordinates.
Requirements
- Minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ levels including English Language.
- Two (2) years’ experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations.
- Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and dispatch operations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in computers is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
