Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily dispatch operations and co-ordinate delivery schemes.
  • Co-ordinate with production, sales and customers.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dispatch reports.
  • Work in conjunction with the quality control section so that jobs are inspected before delivery.
  • Close the dockets that are supplied in full quality.
  • Record jobs in the daily return/output form and in works register.
  • Efficient dispatching of jobs.
  • Compile the daily output form.
  • Daily supervision of subordinates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ levels including English Language.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations.
  • Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and dispatch operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in computers is an added advantage.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
