To support our growth, we are looking for a proactive and organized Procurement Clerk to join our team. The Procurement Clerk will be responsible for supporting the purchasing process, sourcing of motor spares, supplier coordination, and ensuring timely availability of stock at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source quotations from approved suppliers for motor spares and accessories
  • Raise and process Purchase Orders on the system and follow up on deliveries
  • Compare prices, lead times, and quality to ensure best value for the company
  • Liaise with suppliers on orders, invoices, delivery schedules, and queries
  • Maintain supplier database and update pricing lists regularly
  • Work with Storeman and Sales team to identify fast-moving and out-of-stock items
  • Ensure proper documentation – GRNs, invoices, delivery notes are filed correctly
  • Assist with stock counts and report variances to management
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum: 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths and English
  • Diploma/Certificate in Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, Business Management, or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Procurement, preferably in a motor spare, retail, or FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of motor spares and supplier market will be a strong advantage
  • Computer literate – Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/POS’S systems e.g. Pastel, QuickBooks
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
