Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all activities related to product quality and food safety management.
- Conduct raw material, packaging material, and finished product evaluations and testing.
- Monitor production processes and verify compliance with quality standards.
- Implement and maintain PRPs and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
- Record and report quality inspections, test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and food safety systems.
- Ensure laboratory and quality equipment are calibrated and maintained.
- Support internal audits and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- BSc Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related quality discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience in the baking industry will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and prerequisite programmes.
- Understanding of SLAs, COAs, and COCs.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
